Community Health Alliance (CHA, a Federally Qualified Healthcare Center) is committed to providing access to quality, affordable healthcare for as many Northern Nevadans as possible. Despite that mission, only a small percentage of the eligible population were utilizing its services. The marketing team at CHA engaged our team to define a relevant and motivating brand narrative that would serve as the foundation for a new brand campaign.
The barriers to enrollment were identified as both logistical and emotional. Logistical issues included lack of awareness, understanding of CHA’s services and the complexity of getting signed up. Feelings of embarrassment and reluctance to trust healthcare providers and institutions created an additional layer of emotional hesitation.
By reframing CHA’s offerings with the tagline “Get the healthcare you deserve” and emphasizing that patients would be greeted with compassionate, respectful and the highest quality care, CHA’s brand narrative was revitalized. The new campaign reassured future patients that they will be seen, heard, and understood. In addition, CHA has made operational changes in training its staff to simplify its onboarding process.
As a result of this effort and its impact on CHA branding efforts, usage of CHA facilities and services increased by 24% in less than 24 months.
